To add to the growing list of demands for the security professional training is minimal if not completely inadequate. STRIKE instructors recognize the importance of training. Our core values include Honesty & Integrity in training. Our training goal is to prepare the officer to face today’s threats while being mindful of liability reduction.
Basic Security Officer Training

This basic security class is the first of a series of classes that we offer before achieving the STRIKE Certified Security Officer Training Certification. STRIKE Security Certifications can be achieved by obtaining the following certifications: Basic Security Officer, Advanced/Armed Security Officer, Monadnock Advanced Baton Certification, Defensive Tactics and Handcuffing, OC/chemical Spray Certification and CPR Certification.
Civilian Concealed Carry Tactical Pistol
In a dangerous world, citizens CANNOT sit back and expect the Police Department to "protect" them against violent, armed criminals and terrorists.

Civilian Tactical Pistol Level 2
In the SECOND of our series of pistol training classes, we teach one of the most intensive firearms classes available to the Law Abiding Citizen. Extreme Close Distance Defensive Shooting. It is a known fact that most attacks on Police Officers occur within five to seven feet. The curriculum not only addresses how to deal with such attacks but also why most techniques do not work in the street. Tactical Pistol Level 2 goes into Extreme Close Quarters Target Engagement. STRIKE prides itself in the fact that we specialize in Contact Distance Defensive Shooting skills. Startling fact: 80% of all commonly accepted and universally taught close quarters shooting skills DO NOT WORK in the real world! Shoot past the "maybe" stuff and prepare for the real deal with STRIKE.
CPR Certification
If a cardiac arrest happened to your loved one or a close friend, would you know how to perform life-saving CPR, which can double a victim’s chance of survival? Surprisingly, the vast majority of Americans don't. STRIKE Security now offers a one-day CPR certification course through the American Red Cross. STRIKE instructors conduct the training at our Lake Zurich training facility and are available off-site.
Introduction to Security Officer Defensive Tactics and Handcuffing
Handcuffs are the most often used tool used by officers, yet training is often overlooked or not addressed. Studies indicate that a great number of individuals resist arrest/detention. All too often the result is injury to the officer or the subject. This course focuses on subject control, handcuffing and searching. Also addressed is equipment placement and familiarity.
Monadnock Advanced Certification
Monadnock is a well-respected and internationally known name in law enforcement education, through the Monadnock Police Training Council. The Council's certification standards and procedures, as set forth in its curricula, are amply structured to meet contemporary legal challenges. The Council's expandable baton techniques can be quickly mastered and performed under stress, including the baton-aided, subject-control holds called "armlocks." The Council's certification curricula are fully researched in terms of tactical, medical and legal consequences resulting from police intervention. A cadre of competent expert witnesses, who can render an opinion concerning the reasonable use of force as defined by contemporary law enforcement standards and procedures, stand behind all Council Certification programs.

Taser Certification Course
The U.S. Department of Defense policy defines non-lethal weapons as “weapon systems that are explicitly designed and primarily employed as to incapacitate personnel or material, while minimizing fatalities, permanent injuries to personnel, and undesired damage to property and the environment…” The purpose of this course is to provide the student with the theory and practical training necessary to effectively instruct users to safely and effectively operate the Taser® M26 and X26 weapons as a non-lethal option.
