Police Tactical Pistol Gunfight Training - Level 1
Police Tactical Pistol Level 1 was designed so that Patrol Officers from all types of backgrounds would benefit from our "UNIFORMITY OF MOTION" doctrine. In this program, we set the foundation for all our firearms training. Level 1 is where the core skills are taught for our pistol training programs.
At STRIKE Tactical Solutions, we have broken down our pistol training into six levels of advance. We believe in training quality training over quantity, is the best way to educate. Defensive pistol shooting is a form of modern Martial Arts and we insist that our clients make the tactics and techniques their own BEFORE moving on to the next level.
In Level 1 we teach our survival mind-set, core skills, basic techniques and tactics that will be utilized in EVERY other level of instruction.
This training program is geared towards the first line of defense against crime and terrorism, the Police Patrol Officer, Under-Cover Operative and Police Detectives in general.
Although our terminology might be the same as other trainers and schools, please note that we teach DEFENSIVE SHOOTING skills used under duress. All tactics and techniques taught, from Levels 1 - 6, are reality based and street proven.

I have been to some great firearms training with some very qualified people. All along while I was taking those classes I kept thinking a substantial piece of the puzzle was missing, namely, extreme close quarters fighting. Until your class I only had insufficient training from the academy for my close distance shooting and engagements. I can honestly say that your class was phenomenal. Your instructors were excellent and the tactics you taught were simple but effective. The fact that you teach a survival system that can be transferred to different levels of force makes it easy to retain. Instead of separating every force option (like just about every trainer does), everything can be combined to transition during the fight. I can't wait for the next levels and look forward to training with you and your staff again. Thanks Again, J. K. Evanston PD
