CPR Certification

Introduction

If a cardiac arrest happened to your loved one or a close friend, would you know how to perform life-saving CPR, which can double a victim’s chance of survival? Surprisingly, the vast majority of Americans don't. STRIKE Security now offers a one-day CPR certification course through the American Red Cross. STRIKE instructors conduct the training at our Lake Zurich training facility and are available off-site.

Description

After completing the STRIKE CPR course the student will know how to: recognize when 911 should be activated, Respond to emergencies safely, recognize, assess and support the most common emergencies until help arrives.

Students will be instructed on how to treat: bleeding, heart attacks, shortness of breath, Seizures, strokes and poisoning victims. Students will be able to demonstrate how to: recognize a life threatening emergency, provide rescue breathing, perform compressions, perform the Heimlich maneuver and CPR.

Pre-Requisite:

Sworn Law Enforcement or Correctional Officers, state licensed Security Officers, or Active Military personnel and civilian personnel.
