Introduction

In a fight for survival where seconds count, a wounded person cannot wait for qualified EMT personnel to arrive and take care of critical wounds. Each and every officer should be skilled in the use of a basic trauma kit, how to stop excessive bleeding, do CPR and recognize specific wounds. All this whilst being in a fight!

EACH STUDENT NEEDS TO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AT LEAST A LEVEL 1 TACTICAL PISTOL CLASS THROUGH STRIKE TACTICAL SOLUTIONS BEFORE YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR THIS TRAINING PROGRAM.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

At STRIKE Tactical Solutions, we strongly believe that SELF CARE is a basic skill ALL officers should have. We believe in training quality over quantity. Defensive pistol shooting is a form of modern Martial Art and we insist that our clients make the tactics and techniques their own BEFORE moving on to the next level. Now we add EMERGENCY CARE UNDER FIRE to the knowledge of our students.

Important Notice:

This training program is geared towards the first line of defense against crime and terrorism, the Police Patrol Officer, Under-Cover Operative and Police Detectives in general.

Although our terminology might be the same as other trainers and schools, please note that we teach LIFE SAVING skills used under duress. All tactics and techniques taught are reality based and street proven.

The Seven Life Threatening Injuries
Airway Obstruction
Tension Pneumothorax
Hemothorax
Flail Chest
Sucking Chest Wound
Exanguination
Hypovolemia

Hemorrhage Control
Emergency Compression Dressing (Israeli Battle Dressing, modular bandage, NARP bandage, cinchtight bandage)
Tourniquet (SOFTT, CAT, improvised windlass)
Packing Wounds
Use of CELOX Hemostat Blood Coagulent

DAY 2

Range (Live-Fire) Scenarios
Interactive Force-on-Force Simulations

Ammunition Needed: 250 Rounds of Pistol Ammunition

STRIKE Tactical Solutions will supply all Simunition guns, Simunition Ammunition and safety equipment as well as all training bandages, stage blood etc.
